‘The Fallen’ premiered at Glasgow’s Websters Theatre in May 2024 and tells the heartbreaking story of Scotland’s forced adoption scandal.

Many thousands of women, most of them young and unmarried, were forced to give up their babies for adoption until the late 1970s.     

In 2023, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon issued a formal apology for the practice describing it as ‘unjust and profoundly wrong’

Based on true events and interviews, ‘The Fallen’ tells the stories of the girls who were cruelly labelled ‘The Fallen Girls’ and also explores the scandal from the perspective of the fathers.

The show premiered on 17th May 2024 and sold out weeks before it’s opening.
